Founded and directed by professor Michele Borrelli (University of Calabria), the Collana di Studi Internazionali di Scienze Filosofiche e Pedagogiche [the Journal of International Studies of Philosophical and Pedagogical Sciences] aims to further international research in this area. 

This objective is promoted by the scientific committee that features highly acclaimed international specialists whose studies focus on the subjects targeted by the journal.

The committee undertakes to further exchange and critical discussion by regularly publishing foreign papers in many different languages.

Since the Journal was founded in March 2006, professor Borrelli has been in touch with several European universities and has also forged relations with academics in East Asia. He is currently pursuing contact with other international specialists.

In addition to the many shared projects with a sizable number of foreign colleagues with whom professor Borrelli has worked with in the past and also on more recent studies, the scientific studies of the Journal are based primarily on cooperation with the International Karl-Otto Apel Centre of Philosophy in Calabria, promoted by professor Borrelli himself.

As regards his international relations, professor Borrelli cooperates on a regular basis with the German philosopher Karl-Otto Apel.
